The news of the bombing at Valkyrie today was quite exciting. I would like to say that I believe that Hitler is dead, but such an abominable person will take more than one try to kill. Hitler is strong, and I think there is a large chance that Germany's leader is not dead. If this is the case I predict that he will not think it was an accident. He will turn on many, blaming both the guilty parties and innocent people for the bombing, and I am afraid that many will die. I wish that the revolutionaries had asked Britain for help with their plans. I am afraid that all contingencies were not taken into account, as is often the case with assassination attempts. It is obvious, however, that many Germans truly find contempt in the Fuhrer's teachings and with inside turncoats, the war may finally take a turn.
